Fronts 18x8.5 and rears 18x9.5 both with 38+ offsets. Is 9.5 legal here in WA with the stocks being 8" wide on the rear?
Should be As long as has high calliper clearance should be fine, but trial fit if can before commiting adn before putting tyres on always best.
Refer my prevoius post...>>> Quick answer, the rear should be ok, maybe a little rubbing on the lip of the guard.Click Here
Sorry, but not legal in WA We are only allowed to run whatever the biggest width the Zed came with, although it doesn't stop ppl from running bigger. I believe the biggest was 8" on the Stillen 25th anniversary edition??? Might have been 8.5".These policies were being looked at last time I asked about it, but THE man you should be contacting is the one who makes the decisions regarding all this. His name is Reno Marchesi, and he is the head engineer down at Welshpool Licensing centre. I got BOV's, roll cage, cone filter, huge exhaust, race pedals permitted last time I went over, so the right approach always goes a loing way.As far as the 18" sizing goes it's ok as long as the rolling diametre isnt different from the standard rolling diametre.
rims well I rang Nissan Australia and asked them what the standard rim sizes are for the anniversary edition and it was 17x9 inchers! now, the TT model was never sold in australia, so we (tt owners) need to look overseas to see what the manufacturer sold it with. i think japland stock is 16x7.5 inchers, but in the USA it was different with staggered widths for fronts and rears is that correct? my car is a '89TT and i want to put 18x9 rims on it! Qn: what were the stock rim sizes for the 300zxTT in the USA? Qn: has anyone talked to Reno or someone else to confirm the legal limit rim size for our Z32's?
I have 9'' with a +38 offset on the rear with no problems...... an extra half inch will mean 6mm each way. The inside should be fine but I agree with ENuffZ, you might be cutting it pretty fine on the guard.
