Being reversed into about 5 months ago... work was finally done last week and this week. Keep in mind that I was originally quoted $700 to fit the side skirts and remove dents from side of car. Until of course the company was sold, changed hands, new owners. - Jumped up to a quote of $2000 - of which I negotiated to $1500. Well heres the pics.... Not bad upon first inspection... Oh yeah. nice. Closer inspection reveals.. This is on the corner of the bonnet where the car was hit... Pointing it out to the owner of the business he says... oh the bonnet was always bouncy like that. I show him the big chunk of paint missing and he goes inside for 10 minutes before coming out and telling me the guys have "forgotten" to blend the paint... Will book a time next week to drop it back to be rectified. :stupid: I look down where the original dent was between front guard and front bar... oh looksy IT'S STILL ****ING THERE!!! Kind of hard to photograph... but you get the idea. I'm sure. This is the door spats... doors CLOSED yes... you heard right. DOOR CLOSED. Looking down on the actual door spat. - Clearly doesn't line up anywhere near close. - But is firmly glued on. This is the join on the passenger side where front bar meets front left guard. - Also out of allignment when it lined up perfect on original bar. I keep lookin and finding more and more... This is on the rear wing which was - PERFECT. Now it has these 2 splotchy dobs of paint. *doh* Inside the cabin... white paint mark on the inside of the drivers door. Least she looks ok in the dark right? Now the front wheels scrub on the inner passenger side guard on the slightest of bumps. Anyone wanna buy a Z? The good - 2k bar and kaminari skirts are fitted and 2k indicators are hooked up correctly :thumbsup: The Bad - Original Dent not even removed. Paint hasn't been blended or matched properly anywhere. And bonnet was ignored completely. The UGLY - Side skirts fitted cheaply and nastily. Paint on the inside of the car. Wheels scrubbing out on guards over the slightest bumps. Fate -
absolete shit work, give them one more chance to fix then id be seeking legal action , A blind man could of done a better job than that. Trev
Shit Fatey i feel for you mate. Go back and give them hell, if no good , go to the industry ombudsman (or whatever ) and tell him the story. yes... Unfortunately Rob... Refused to release car to me without payment of course. Am going to be calling the insurance company to organise for an assessor to come down and have a look at the dodgy work first thing tomorrow. Cars + Fate = DO NOT AGREE.... Time to sell up and buy a suicycle. Fate

possibly new pads or lack of shims? Get some of that anti squeal grease on them should be shaweet haha Hope all goes well with the body shop
Damn Fate! That's just shocking... I've got a 2k bar + Stillen side skirts to go on my Z soon, hopefully I find a shop who won't do a bodgey job... Can't wait to see her when she's all put back together :3 Cheers Tom
