I understand that it's normal for the zed fueld pump to make more noise than normal immediately after startup before being reasonably quiet? Just wondering why this is exactly? Is it running harder than normal? sucking air till the tank pressurises?
Prepressurising When you turn the ignition to the "on" position the fuel pump primes (or pre-pressurises) the lines so that the car is easier to start.
