    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone had any ideas. My '92 TT has been "hunting" at idle very badly (revs fluctuating 300-500 rpm at times), when i turn the climate control on this seems to stop it from doing it as badly.
In the last 3 days it has got worse and now I have noticed it is not making boost and is hesitating under load as well.
I figured it may have been a vacuum leak so I checked all the hoses I could see & tightened all the clamps to no avail. I also plugged it into conzult and datascan but there were no error codes present and all sensors were within their correct tolerances.
Could it be bad fuel? Anything else anyone can think of?
    Appreciate any help!!

Mine was doing those things at various stages...

check both the water temp sensor AND the actual connecting wire for corrosion, ensure good contact, may require replacing.

Also, to check for boost leaks, you need to plug up the front of the air intake and run about 7-8 psi through the system, and check for air escaping.

Finally, a connector injector may have popped off, check they're all plugged in.

Once all those causes are eliminated, you check for error codes...
