lordie ... yet another SHOCKING Qld zed event !!!! .... home at 3:15pm after the above varied happenings, bedroom a/c on at 3:16pm, asleep by 3:20pm .. totally hungover and stuffed ....

To Jo and Karl, our great hosts, and those darling daughters one big, big, thank you ... an absolutely wonderful time from what i remember of it ... that cruise through the Bunya Mts was something else with uncle Chris (CBZX) whacking me in as PSA and demonstrating a bit of TT performance .... whoooossshhhhh ... thanks Chris ...

I watched sweetchuck roll in as I was pitching a tent over that red rocket. I had no idea who he was. He came walking over looking like a stunned mullet after he noticed I had the forum stickers on the car, (got those on in good time ), it was then that it came to me. I remembered a member having an NSX and a Z. He asked if there was anyone else, I point in the direction of the group and he was over there in a flash, gleaming with excitement. :thumbup:

Fatey and BoneZX are lucky to be alive, with subsequent skid marks and suction damage caused by Bonezx's backside against the leather.

Forgive me sliding off to bet shortly after midnight, I was not 100% myself as I'd just had 2 full days in the sun working the land at Gympie.
Tammy and Caitlyn would loved to have been there, but it was too much to get back to the south side of Brisbane and then drive out to Dalby in time.

As usual I had a good time. The OscarZ was a ball.

Well, i'm finally home safe and sound after driving Magicmike and Cara back to Brisbane then back again.
As much as i love my Zed, i'm glad to lock it away tonight after all that driving.
Well im VERY sunburnt and very tired, so i've just had a nice cool shower and am veging under the air conditioner, watching a movie and sipping on some Golden Circle "Fruit Cup" cordial (the best cordial in the entire southern hemisphere) with plenty of ice, and feeling a lot better now

Now i've got a busted-ass Aztec red Zed sitting in my back yard that i'll have to find something to do with it.:zlove:

BTW, there are some pretty hillarious photos in there Cam, good work. You have captured us as our typical nutty selves

 

I'm sure that car is cursed and though it makes more sence to do something about the engine, I suggested to Mike that, as a thought, he might get that novelty feeling back of driving a new Z . Part out the red one and start fresh.

I could go for an iCER cold Southern Hemispherical Cordial right about now.

Ive had my Z for a week yesterday and i have already learned so much just from this weekend. I had my own little adventure through one on those reflector posts down a ditch and back onto the road luckily there is only cosmetic damage.
This was my first cruise and it definitely wont be my last!!

Oh, and i love my Z!!! :zlove:

I lost the A/c a couple of times but she soon recovered.

 

that was first up this mournin commin out of Symonds rd on our way to maccas. well i never had a/c the entire trip. had to use 33 degree wind
I wont be goin to the warrick cruise, i wanna get my to Z up to scratch so maybe the one after that.

Its goood to be a part of it!

It was a very.......very...... lonely 2.5 hour drive home last night.

I'm also so glad I didn't take the orange Zed (not red dammit! lol) to the Bunya Mts - I would've bounced off the road within minutes..... really need new suspension

Big thanks to Gunmetal_Jester for entrusting me with his newly acquired Zed for that unexpectedly long and bumpy cruise! You've got a lot of faith man It was different driving an NA that's for sure. We got some air on a few bumps and the brakes died completely at one stage, (I would get them checked out Justin, just in case) and my heart nearly exploded from my chest as I thought that we couldn't stop at all. Thankfully it was on a straight section and they came good after a little while before they were really needed.

There was some massive tech work going on with my car, zomgsrsly! Biggest events included reconnecting my safety boost solenoids and removing my key from the ignition after it got stuck. Actually, they were the only events...

Hope those big rotors work well Sticky!

It was a good day for me, but I think I'll pass on the next trip where there's roads that make your car a mobile jumping castle...

House has been WARMED!

The weekend was LEGENDARY!

The house was warmed, the tech day became an hour long tech night. Some of us got pissed. The other 5 just watched them get pissed.

Great catching up with everyone for such an awesome event.

The long drive there was worth it, but the return trip seemed like it would never end.

A word for the wise... Offroad Zedding is not for the faint hearted. :sorry:

It's good to see the radio's all working throughout the vehicles as it made things alot easier.

Sad news hearing about Eminem's Oil Dump But hopefully things will be resolved at a reasonable price cheaper than the quote for the tow home!
