Bad news no BBQ now!!

hello peoples ,I went to cambell town twice in the last few months and i can not find any BBQ areas at all. All I have found is a bunch of tables with no BBQs in site. So I dont think we will be having a BBQ lunch unless someone else knows were they are. Anyway there are plenty of Take aways in Cambell town, it would probably be easier to go that way.
I will defiantly be there I am looking forward to catching up with everyone.

In campbell town. Just ordered my coilovers with a teeth shattering 12kg front and 9kg rears! They should be here in just over a week Jono....So i'll give ya a buzz and we shall whip them in. Then drop it like its hot and we will go take sum piccys lol! Might get sum plates and weld them to the bottom of the zorst so I can throw sparks like a minitruck Just kiddin!


Also on your manual conversion jono you should get a Tilton Pedal box...that would be pro!! :zlove:

I have a strong suspicion that i've blown a piston ring... running rough and burning a bit of oil since last track day

If I'm free I'd be happy to give you a hand. But if not, don't be scared to do it yourself, just give me a ring if you are unsure, or get stuck.

I'm sick of these excuses from people saying they need a rebuild etc... and not coming to cruises!

Not good to hear Odin, hopefully it isn't that. If you have a blown piston ring, you'll be blowing a lot of black/blue smoke, you'll also have phuck-all compression in the cylinder. So if you get a chance mate, do a compression test.
As you know, there are other possibility's for running rough and burning oil.

 

Yeah that's no good Odin. Get a comp test ASAP. Hopefully not a ring.

I'm still on track to make it. Will hopefully get her running this weekend.

 

Just got a compression tester so i'll be testing it tonight... fingers crossed! Is there damage i could do by driving it with a blown ring? guess i would be putting pressure on the crank case and fouling the oil quickly and that would not be good

Dont worry my Z is still smokin a little. Hopefully you havnt blown a piston ring. Yeah the last track day is where I broke something . So Jono how many do we have coming this time will we break the record of 20 Zs? Hope we do.

Some people don't turn up, and you have others you were not expecting show.
Hopefully a fair few turn up from the North, otherwise it is a pointless trip driving up to Campbell Town
