    Hi All,

I am currently trying to search for a company in AUS that can supply the above mentioned springs. Thus far i have emailed about 15 companies as per the tanabe-usa.com website and to no avail.

Hoping someone here could shed some light?

For those interested here is the website as a reference.http://www.tanabe-usa.com/springs/pro210.asp

    Tezza

Oh by the way i have done a fair amount of research regarding this and they seem to be the best bang for buck part.

Tezza go with a good set of insurance approved coilovers mate. May seem expensive initially but by the time you add up 4 springs then the new adjustable shocks to suit and bushes etc you will spend close to 3/4 of the price of the coilovers but wont haver the inherent levels of adjustment associated with the coilovers.

BTW how are the adjustable cam gears going did you get em yet I forgot to ask the other night.

    Hi Mate,

I already have the adjustable shocks ready to go. KYB AGX to be precise. I didn't want to go coilover as i wont be hittting the track all that much.. well for now anyway...

As fo the cam gears.. yeah i got them... No difference in HP apart from area under the curve increasing. Power comes on alot quicker and maintain power for longer if that makes any sense...

In essence i have been told (after i bought them) that VG30dett does not make power with cam gears until you get a bigger lift cam....

So let this be a lesson to all!!!!!.. Hi jacking my own thread haha...

Very nice KYB's are pretty good so I have heard no first hand experience.

Hijack part now Yeah they will add a tiny bit but do come into there element with big lift cams, also are handy for shooting some unburnt fuel and in my case nitrous down the exhaust for cool flame action.

    HAHAHAAH

Your a nutter... You have been saying that for ages...

It will be good when a copper is chasing ya... let off some flames and blank out your number plate.. HAHAHA..

You have got a sweet ride though mate.. I must admit....

    Another hijack...

What was the name of your thermo?

    Its a SPAL www.spal-usa.com

I have also found some suitable actuators for my downforce project

The one on the far right is a 2 inch drive 180kg static force linear actuator. Will have two of these bolted to the support risers one on each and attched to the adjuster arms on top of the risers to alter the downforce. They are supplying a three postion memory switch aswell which I can link up to the Greddy MSS and have it move at different speeds to suit.

A lot of stuffing around but will be very cool andf functional too hopefully when its done. The actuators are only 158mm long a little longer than a pen so will be reasonably unobtrusive.

I dont know if anyone has had a think about this but what about custom made springs to suit your car?? That is the best bang for buck IMHO... You just got to find a good sping joint and see how much it will cost for them to make the springs and to how low you want them etc etc

hehe when i looked at that site reminded me of TRD for Toyota hehe :p

Just the aus spec SS at the moment although the rumour is Fulcrum is working on getting the FLEX approved aswell. So if it goes ahead I guess we get some little ADR stickers made up for our existing setups:rolleyes:  :D :D

    Zanjara,

I have looked into it... Essentially though I am looking for a somewhat advanced company with a reputation to use. Not saying our local boys dont have what it takes. On the contrary they know exactly what they are doing, sometimes they know too much... HAHA...

The most important thing is i have my heart set on them now... And for those who know me, once i reach this point there is no turning back.. HAHA.
