Guys, I recently bought 1990 Z32TT. The car has had few things done like, cruise control button is now boost control, it has another security system installed ''kill switch''. There is a little switch in the glove box that is hooked to immobilizer (i think). the car is currently at ultratune who services my other family car, to install few things like lights and few little other things. he did some changes to wiring and car didnt start and then he did something else with wiring and the car started..

Seems there are few things done to this car. where in sydney can i take the car who could check the car and advise if i need to revert/make changes. I dont mind leaving what is in there as long as i dont get stranded one day.

    thx fellow zedders.

Two other experienced and competent Z32 mechanics are Andrew at ASR Automotives as well as Ben at Unique Auto Sports (UAS).

(Andrew use to work at UAS. Ben use to work at MRC but is now back at UAS)

I was a customer of UAS when i had a non turbo about 6 yrs ago and i spent few fat bundles of cash if not less but never felt connected...it could be just me...umm...not trying to bash them, i know they r well known z specialist but at the time i didnt feel much warmth and it was more like just another customer feeling...if u know what i mean

I've never felt like that myself about UAS I've always found JP easy to talk to but we're all different.

You might connect better with Andrew ASR Automotives.

Sounds like you might need a good auto electrician.

As everyone has said, you pretty much have the 3 to choose from.

If you're not comfortable taking it to UAS, I would recommend Andrew @ ASR as well.
I've never had any work done personally, how ever, have met him, and seen the calibre of his work.

He was also the mechanic of my impeccably maintained N/A, and built Rob260's engine (I think).
    His work speaks for itself.

If you go and have a chat to him, and don't feel like leaving your car with him, Mark @ MRC is directly across the road.
I have nothing but great words to say about MRC, how ever, all the work I had done there was carried out by Ben, who is now at UAS.
