Almost a week since and no post here yet????

Then let me be the first to say "FUCK YEAH!!" to everyone involved. Caz did a great job of hosting/organising/helping me get started on some jobs and it was great to have some more experienced members around looking over shoulders.

Watching Wizard do a spark plug pull certainly took alot of the fear factor out of it, which I guess is what these days are all about!

I don't want to go through a big list of thankyous it'll start to look like an awards night and I'm bound to leave someone out, but a big thanks again to Caz who actually managed to get the ball rolling.

I hope this is the first of many!

Sydney Tech Day - Thanks to Caz1 for hosting

and the excellent BBQ. Apart from the spark plugs inspection and the Detonation sensor bypass modification done to Caz1's car there were no specific tasks planned for the day. Though some connector inspection and cleaning were carried out, I would like to see some specific tasks identified and planned ahead for future Tech Days. Anyone has problems with their vehicle please highlight the problems and may be during tech days, experience people can help to identify the cause and help to rectify and fix some of the problems.

Thanks to Caz from Chloe and I

It was great to meet some more people and learn a bit more about my car - especially since the thing drove away feeling a hell of a lot quicker!!

    Things done to my car:

    Cleaned throttle bodies (cheers Rob!)
TPS adjusted from 0.12 to 0.46 (whatever that means)
    Found my massive boost leak
    Cleaned some terminals
Ron fixed my crank angle sensor so the car doesnt turn off when you touch it (??)
Identified a very strange hunting problem which had been baffling me when freeway driving (not that i know whats causing it)
and my idle dropped from 800 to 750!!

Not a bad bunch of results i reckon, especially since i rocked up late!

    Thanks Heaps - More Question

Hey guys thanks for an assume day, heaps of fun and the food was so devine.

    Have a quick question:
What was the name of the sprays you guys used to clean the throttle body and the wiring loom plugs and pins?

As its time for me to do mine again and since i have to get some more spray, i wouldn't mind knowing what you guys prefer/recommend/use

    Aerosols

OK for the TB's it was Nulon "Throttle Body and Carby Cleaner" and the electrical connectors it was just an electrical "contact cleaner and lubricant" from Jaycar
