Stiil overwhelmed with last Saturday's tech day at Nurragingy Reserve. Great turnout of members! Didn't expect it as it was only a short notice (literally a week) when I decided to organise such event. Thought everyone would mostly prefer a Sunday. Plus a week before such event, weather forecast was a rainy Saturday coming. Oh well, t'was worth taking the risk... Here are a few happy snaps: Plus, we have a gate crasher that day... Showing off some skills... sideways! And had to park beside me when a slightly bigger car comes driving past by... Let's have fun and do some voyeurism... Body roll much?! Would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all participants who showed up. Another day of fun, laughter and the ever glowing spirit of camaraderie among members. The day wouldn't have been as successful if it weren't for you, guys (and the ever cooperative weather!). Great to meet a few new members as well. As I have said, always a pleasure to be of help in any small ways I (and most of the members as well) can. 'Til next issue... Arvin :br:
thanks for a great day Arv =] I ended up staying longer then I should have though I ended up being 2 hours late hehe but was worth it!
I kept holding you up! Thanks for participating, man. Hit me up for some low back pain stuffs... Arvin
C'mon, Arvin, YOU know the drill!! Where's the piccies of all the WORK that got done!! And, what about the butter...?? Bloody photos of Chili's car and nothing of him (or others) with his head under a bonnet and bum in the air...!! Just WHAT did youse blokes get up to (apologies to Jeff Fenech!)...
Looks like fun dissapointed I couldn't be there hopefully can have another tech day in november then I can join in ....Btw arvin your car is starting to look awesome man...the bonnet looks great painted to match the car....
We'll try to do this more regularly, Dylan! I'll keep you posted. Oh, and thanks for the compliment! AAA
sad i missed it friday night got a bit out of hand :S next time ill try harder. hope its not too distant
Never mind, you would only have enjoyed yourself(if you turned up).:zlove: Not a lot of work took place, but it was a great social get-together(and that's the main thing anyway). It was good to catch up with familiar faces(and a few new ones as well)so it was well worthwhile. Thanks Arvin Lloyd & Lynn:zlove::zlove:
Aww...go on, you're just saying that...! Just gone through the densest grouping of family birthdays and get-togethers you could imagine - from 9year-olds to twin 49yr-olds!! (And just about everything in between!). Guess that'll teach me to start such a bloody tribe... Still got some buttered bread left over from our previous tech days at the factory... should be still on the storage racks somewhere; must check with the boys if the unit is available again...???
Great day arv Good seeing everyone, and enertaining the troops with my quick drift session with my RC, great too see the new blood and the oldies Shame I couldn't come in my Z, few little issues at the moment, I can't wait for the next one, or cruise? Cheers
