NSW Sydney Tech Day at Castle Hill, 16th October, 2011

ANyone got a compression tester? Might as well do that and they plugs while i am doing all this other stuff....

 

Unfortunately it's not looking good for me, why you gotta put tech days on when I can't make it???

Bit of an 'out-there' request, but.... I need to re-fit my Series 2 PTU (after the bodgy engine replacement mechanic cut it off and used the original Series 1 that came with the motor). Now I can't find the end plugs to do the re-connection. I have the PTU but don't know what he's done with the plugs. Anyone who has a pair of plugs and just might be coming to the Tech Day at Castle Hill tomorrow could I ask that you please bring them with you...

Apologies to anyone who was planning to drop-in "later".... I unlocked the factory doors at 8am and waited 'til 10.30. With no sign of anyone I suggested to Pennyarvs that we look to re-schedule to next week (??). Arvin was working until lunchtime, so at least it saved him buying a stack of hot chicken for everyone (?) for lunch.
As things turn out it's a shame nobody turned up as the workshop next door (whose owner I've been 'working on' for some time to acquire as a workshop base for Zed club usage) was open today with two hoists available for usage, wheel-balancing equip, etc. etc. First time ever they've been open when we were having a Tech Day. Ah well, them's the breaks.....

 

Lol dam at para now almost thee . . .oh well

 

Awwww! Such a shame! Disappointment at its best...

Anyhow, life must go on. Next weekend's another opportunity...

Was probably not enough time for people to get organised Mike, A lot of people aren't on the forum all the time and probably would not have not seen it.
Couldn't make this and won't be able to make next week either.

OK Arvin... think it might be time to choose whether you have Saturday or Sunday. My boys don't mind as they won't have staff in on Saturday, so it's your choice. My personal preference is for Sunday as it is usually easier for most Tech Gurus to attend, but both days are available...
Please guys, I would ask that you support Pennyarvs in attending this Tech Day as it does take quite a bit of organising. And, organising is what Arvin is good at... he is very sincere about helping other Zed owners and , to my knowledge, has never said 'No' to any request for help or assistance from members. It would be great to have the parking bays overflowing for this day with a strong attendance. We've got the venue, let's use it!

 

Thanks for the kind words, Mike! Will message the boys today and see who's coming and on what day they prefer. Will keep this thread updated. For the mean time, need to go back to work. Will sneak in every now and then to see how this is going.
