bullshit chris,even the guys who got them say it is If you wanted the brightest lights you would have gone 4300k/5000k ,if you want the pretty blue light for everyone else to see,you go 6000k or higher I mean its not like you ever see the blue in them is it lol,other people do !! i reckon they look ok,but i think it could bring unwanted attention to the fact that we have hids,and technically they are illegal,so thats why i stayed clear of pretty ones, Theres already enough on my car to bring it to peoples attention lol
im tempted to put 13000K in my high beams 5000k high beams will basically blind people, weak 13000k light will be a real head turner and you can use it anywhere :biggrin:

how much for a spare set of globes bankids,also i presume any k globe( eg 4300,5000,6000k) can go into the ballasts we already have ???

lol, just playing but last time i checked, trimming is cutting, and i got 5000k but it still has an ever so slight bluish tinge, barely noticable, but some hero cop will notice it one day, it is only really noticable when looking at the projection and there is a blue line at the top and then superbright white light
I'll go firm on the High Beams in 5000k I do a fair bit of night driving back and forth to Gympie, so they will be a welcome addition to the mods list. Now I just gotta do the headlight mod so the lows stay on when the highs are activated
Hi, Yes you can lite up any colour bulbs with same ballast, don't trust the sellers who tell you you have to use specific ballast for specific colour. globes are 100 a pair including postage.

The high beam lights, are they just using the same lamps as the low beams or will they be a hell of alot brighter? If so I'll get a set of High Beam ones in 5000k also.
