For some time especially on days over 20 deg c my 300ZX TT had an issue with a tendency to overheat with the airconditioning on. Robbie and the crew id'd some time ago that that side tank on the radiator that the cap fits on might have been worn (it's plastic). Jointly we came up with a solution of backing the radiator cap back a couple of mm from fully closed which proved quite effective in normal weather or when moving.

Anyway with summer coming it was time to get this properly fixed. The main radiator was ok so it was a flush for that, sent away for a new side tank or two and whilst out a new thermostat. All up quite a reasonable $595.

Out today with the warmer weather and a peak on an after market gauge of around 92 deg in peak traffice with the a/c on. Once on the freeway back to 85. Less than my wifes Golf! Pre this repair, hot days meant no a/c as the needle could quite quickly move up closer to 100.

Once again the Wallard boys come through... money well spent and well done boys! It's great to have the a/c on a hot day.
