Stripped Z..

Not sure if this counts as rebuild, maybe just rebuild interior..

It started with a faulty relay on the opposite side of the internal fusebox, It was a big pain to get to and I decided to pull the carpet up and well it got away on me a bit..



So Im going to replace the carpet and im wondering if anyone has done this? Couldn't find any posts anywhere.

Just want to know if i need to glue new stuff down and if its possible to just slide it under the aircon fan/box in the middle. I really don't want to strip back anymore incase I forget where everything goes..

Also attach picture of lounge room, GF is not happy.. haha

haha, no I brought them about a year ago, need rebuilding though..

 

i have to ask what stuff are you refering to? the underlay or the carpet? sometimes the underlay is glued on spots mostly just to keep it in place.
just tell your gf to becarefull not to step on any of the pieces hahaha.

 

Just the carpet, but the old stuff was sort of bonded to everything..
My main concern is the middle top piece that goes under the dash, im hoping it will just sort of slide under.

Yeah the dash has nearly been destroyed.. haha
