89 TT 2+2 was stolen last night between midnight and 6am from my home in canberra it was metalic red, had a veilside body kit and rear wing, Gulf Stick rims, 3' kakimoto cat back exhaustwith huge resonators, intake hard pipes. Apexi boost controller mounted on dash, coilovers, cruise control, sony head deck etc etc turbo seals and valve seals gone so it leaves a huge trail of smoke. at least i still have the other motor which was going in eventually lock your cars away folks
Whats going on down in the ACT, thats about the 4th one now. Post up a pic so we know what were looking for.
Mate, Post up a picture and rego plate number so that canberra zedders can keep a lookout. Also northside or southside? A copper friend of mine told me that someones zed was recovered at the backroads of Canberra airport at Sutton road, a track thy use for driver training courses. Apparently there were over 80 cars there illegally racing, burnouts etc and the stolen zed was one of them that got damaged a few weeks ago. These idiots call themselves "Rush Hour" and admitted to the newspapers recently that they only undertake illegal activities in controlled environments (WTF ?!!??) As long as these twats are out on the road, i'm sure that they will more than likely target high performance cars (but in your case, they probably thought that your zed was some sort of supercar, even though it was blowing heaps of smoke)
JESUS.. hey CINDY (BRISSIE BEAUTY) if you read this DO NOT bring the Z down.. keep it safe up there.. im in goulburn.. 1 hour away from canberra.. it may explain why i have been pulled over about 10 times now and asked to see rego papers and had background checks and licence checks done on me alot in the last 2 months that is insane and it sounds a like a gorgeous example of a ZX also... i really hope it turns up somehwere safe and sound mate. ill keep an eye out down around my area
bet y any money some commo driving bogan took it for a test flight and she's having all her good bits removed for resale. sorry to hear it. mate of mine had his skyline stolen and it was chop shopped down there last year. all the found was the burnt out shell.
Agreed, or some thick sculled moron doesn't realise that while these cars LOOK hot, they are actually next to worthless. Find em Kill em
...sorry to hear your bad news, niven .... hope that it will be recovered w/out major damage .... .. p.s. .. have been wondering how you were getting along .... haven't heard from you for a while ...
Oh no u didnt! LOL.. its sad however true.. mainly markets fault but for us owners these cars are priceless (well at least mine are too me and im sure alot of other members will sympathise).. Plus there head turning ability and wow factor is priceless to haha. as others ahve said please get pics up so i have a better idea what i am looking for although a red veilsided Z isnt hard to miss.
Why not put a mobile phone in the car hooked up to a car charger hidden in a compartment or a panel for 24 GPS tracking or a registered GPS system wired with a hidden external aerial for tracking anywhere in Australia. It is an easy soloution then when it gets stolen and you track it down within minutes, you can get the house surrounded with cops within minutes. TV show in NZ a few years back showed this is how the Cops caught theives in the act. Purposely placed Jap sports cars in bad areas, with hidden cameras in the car and a special electrical fuel kill switch at the pump off. As soon as the theif jumped in the car, smashed the steering lock, hotwired and drove off, the undercover cops followed them for a minute then the they switched the fuel pump off while the theives were bemused why th ecar stopped and kept cranking the car over LMFAO. There is a way to get theives, I suggest everyone to have a registered tracking phone or a hidden registered GPS in their vehicle. Theives cannot beat that type of technology. Even if the battery is removed how long will a GPS system or a mobile phone keep it's charge. Long enough Now anyone else wanting to steal a 300zx better look out.
Hey mate. Im starting to get really worried about my zed. i lock her up at night for good reasoning. Post up some pics and i will keep an eye out for it. Best of luck mate
This is also another reason why I don't like to hand the keys over to a person to install a car alarm. Also change the locks when you buy a car. There are so many ways to trick a thief. Kill switches for everything. Hooked up to a programmable keypad board with the wires not corresponding. Anyways that sucks about your car Niven Hope they find the thief and his legs get smashed with unknown causes.
oh no, as soon as i saw this thred i was like "mmm bet its in canberra haha" opened it and i was sadly right fkn redicuals
Is there some reason for this car to have different number plates front and rear(or are some pics from a previous owner)??? It shouldn't be too hard to spot. Hope someone finds it quickly.
