is there a special way to get this back on? I pulled it apart to get a steel or aluminium one machined up but need to put it back on just to get the car onto a trailer and around a factory etc. I am just talking about the one on the column up from the U joint, not sure of the exact bush name, but it's the one just before the firewall (rubber with nylon bushings)

I got it off without knocking the bolts out but I can't get it back on? Do I have to knock/press the studs out to get it on or is there another way to do it where I don't have to press the studs out? Or can I unbolt the U joint easily?

Steer u-Joint comes off easy. Remove both bolts and slide. Hardest part is replacing and having the Steering wheel in the right position
