can check my emails to find out what freight cost through Jesse Streeter if you wish. Don't quote me on it, but recall its between $100-$120

Thanks mate, who is this Jesse Streeter and how are you guys viewing the auctions? Just translating them or going through another site like monster imports?

Jesse streeter is an import agent. Dont personally undertand the technicalities involved with setting up a Yahoo account, so prefer to use him.

You scroll through yahoo auctions (I dont bother translating, just look at the pretty pictures and the asking price), copy the link and send it to Jesse via email. He can send a quote based on the final sale price if required even. Once the item has been delivered to him in japan, he mails it to Australia, either via air (expensive but quick- within 5 business days), sea (cheaper, but with size restrictions. Takes 6-8 weeks) or Container from aussie Jap parts importer (cheapest by far, but pay GST on items, and anything up to 3 months).

For a better understanding, shoot Jesse an Email on dartsun75@gmail.com Personal experience has found him to be fantastic to deal with, and a LOT cheaper than other import agents, only charging 10% commission on final purchase price.

    cheers

Thanks a lot michael, makes things a bit easier eh. I've been trying to get english version jap auction working and the url doesnt want to work for me. I wont even bother trying to set up a yahoo account, although i've got the translator working good now it's nice to read the details. Cheers mate

Can't set up a yahoo Japan account as you need jap address & credit card.
I always view with importmonster, very easy to navigate & decent translations. Prices can be decent too. Jesse's advantage is he's a Japan based company so no gst to pay so that saves you 10% straight away.
Having said that sometimes importmonster does work out more convenient so don't discount them, especially for larger items. Plus they have real time bidding, very handy if you stumble on something with not long left on the auction.

I got jesse streeter to get me that spoiler at 10:30 last night with only couple hours left on it, brand new 99 spec spoiler delivered for 420 sure beats gettin one from america :) i couldnt find it on import monster do they have all auction items listed? Using the microsoft translater that comes with windows 7 it worked well too with yahoo, i do like how you can just bid yourself on import monster but

If you wanna recoup some of your costs, buy another cheaper spoiler, combine freight and advertise the 2nd once it arrives. eg- there's a S3 spoiler (the halo style) for around $7. Advertised on ebay for just under $400.

.... or buy something else you need. Cargo blinds etc are dirt cheap, and often is perfect condition
