I am looking into why speedo doesnt work. So istripped it down and found the board was burnt.

Looking into replacements. My car is a s2 and doesnt have the boost gauge. Will an NA one be ok?

    Maybe..........maybe not.

    TT's from Aug '92 to Oct '94 P/No. 24820-45P09
    TT's from Sep '93 to Jan '97 P/No. 24820-45P64
No mention of NA's concerning the above part numbers.

These numbers are for the speedo only, not clusters.

I am hoping the only difference is the face...

    Trial and error i guess.

I actually thought about this the other night.

I *THINK* the speedo themselves are interchange able. I ran my S1 ECU with my S1 gearbox and the speedo was fine. The AVCR is still getting a speed reading fine.

Is this fixable? Everything on the other side seems ok.

Get some IPA and clean up the PCB. It looks like you may have some cracked solder joints. Use some non activating solder fluid and retouch the solder joints. Check some of the tracks they look as if they have delaminated. Cant tell from the pick if any components have died though.

Plenty of later model speedo's out there, things like Mines , Nismo , etc.

I may have a go at fixing it, its already broken, cant make it worse. Might make a good learning experence for me.

Got an s1 cluster. The guage inside is very different.

Anyone have a picture of the insides of a AU spec cluster?
