just a recent pic of inside my car.
all they need is a allen key and they can pinch my steering wheel and gearknob. tacho prolly isnt too hard to take either.[image]http://www.mustangmods.com/data/346/mycarinside.jpg [/image]

    Blipman Beer hooves totally work

    Bummer, time to spend

more money on an alarm than the car is worth.... I've seen it done :)

Tight interior.... modding a Z should come easily to you. Now do what a mate of mine did: dump it on its guts, take the Camira and SL/X badges off the back, cut them up, and bingo, you have a Slamira!
    Oozes street cred :)

That really sux man, did they get anything at all??
    If not, lucky :)
Monster tacho I see, dunno if you can get a Zed that will go harder than a car with a monster tacho ;)

Dude, you have my steering wheel..:)

You remember my trusty if somewhat odd orange sigma that folks were making fun of at the tech day??? Well it has a steering wheel exactly the same as the one in your gemini..:) Got it from Autobahn..:) Sorry to hear about the break in dude. I really hate thieves. My sigma got broken into on my driveway about 4 years ago now, but I caught them in the act. After having a knife pulled on me, I managed to get all the components of my stereo back. One of the scariest days of my life. After that, I got an alarm.Cheers and goodluck dude...JEDI-77

    thanks guys

how nice is the wheel to drive with jedi?? it feels so nice and smooth, i love it.Blipman, how much does a cheap alarm cost? dont wanna spend a tonne on a top of the line one obviously.
And yeah i cant wait to be modding a 300zx!! Good practise with the gemini, then ill know what to do when i get a z :)Scotty, LOL Its not a monster tacho! PHATZX has had a look at it up close (so he'll tell you it aint as big as it looks), its a 3+3/4", the 'monster' tacho's are 5" :p
    Ad's 20hp though :p
And nah they got nothing, dont think they got in, thankfully.I park in the garage every night, ive narrowed it down to it either happend at Dandy plaza carpark (no suprises there), or chadstone shopping center car park (well known for car break in/theft).i dont even have a steering lock, im gonna get one, if my car gets broken into and my wheel/tacho/gear knob/stereo etc, is taken, ill atleast have the car still.

    Yeah...

the wheel is nice, but its a killer in summer when the metal bit in the middle is hot enough to cook an egg and you accidently rest your hand on it..:) Also, the alarm for my sigma cost $400 from autobahn. Nothing special, sensor on all doors, bonnet, boot and shock sensor as well. Also had engine immoboliser. It worked quite well. Having said that, it now doesnt work for some reason..:)

Man there's alot of room under the dash in

old cars! I forget what it's like to be able to stretch out. It's not too bad under the bonnet either!

    its great!! :)

didnt have to do anything to wire up the cd player my mate gave me, 2 screws on the side of the silver bit holding it in, and all the plugs wires you can fiddle with just lying on the passanger floor as its all open at the back. :Dand yeah, tonnes of leg room not having a console go all the way to the front.

just a tip for everyone >

never leave anything, and i mean anything, lying around in your car, on the floor, on the seat or on the dash when its parked. That includes CD cases, jumpers and other clothes and especially not bags. even if its something that you think someone wouldn't steal because its not worth much or whatever, you can be wrong.the people that do this kind of low life, scum of the earth act can't resist the temptation to steal a few cd's or a jumper that they want so make sure you take away any temptation for them.its pretty easy for thieves to just bust a window and use your car like a super market and grab what they want. the only difference is they don't pay.and it saves you a huge hassel too. the cops won't do squat about a few pinched cd's or a jumper so its you who foots the bill. Its pretty simple but people don't do it.
