Im finalizing my construction on a Z32 body kit and I want some feed back on the design... if you like it, hate it, or would like to see something changed on it.

The picture you see is mostly photoshop and is specifically for the naturally aspired zx so far as the twin turbo component wont fit this design. I plan on making a tt version also in the future.

Im hoping to have a prototype finished before Christmas with the cost to range under $3 to $4 thousand dollars.
The kit will probably be in two to three pieces and will replace the hood and bumper with the original headlights kept on.

    looks like arse IMO
    Questions:
how do you open the bonnet? Are they replacement headlights or eyelids? Do the eyelids obstruct the beam of light? Is there going to be a cutout for the bonnet? Is this legal? Will enough air get through that front bumper for the radiator etc? Is there going to be anything at the back or just the front for 3-4 grand?

    Nice work

nice work mate! It's different and I dont know if I would use it myself but looks quite nice, would like to see the finnished product though.
Dont take too much notice of all the people that will say bad things about it, It's your car and if you want to make it look distinct and individual then go for it!
Keep up the good work, Andy

So far I want the black portion of the hood to open the regular way, and the outer sides to be separated and to open the opposite way.

The headlights are the stock original and unfortunately will obstruct the high beams a bit.
Also at this point I dont have a plan on how to fit the original glass covers so that the DOT and other legal standard markings are displayed in case police officers want to find an excuse to ticket the car.

As far as it being legal, it will be made out of fiberglass and tested so that the hood would not fly off and cause an accident. Its going to be a big body kit and the cars appearance will not look like a Z anymore... so I dont know if it will be legal everywhere.

I think there is more then enough room for air to circulate specially because I will be making a vent just before the engine starts. Thanks to a thread here, its my understanding that the vent will actually be better then Nissan's stock design for air flow. So hopefully it will run cooler and be more aerodynamic.

And yes, I will be exposing the engine and covering it with plexi-glass which is something one doesnt see everyday.

So far only a front kit will be available for that price, unless I can make it for cheaper, the price will be cheaper.

Ive been told it looks like one, one person said its as if a Veyron mated with an Aston, with a hint of Lexus LF-A... then barf icon

Thanks, its been a 5 year dream to do this conversion, no one will stop me :D

:) so far this one picture will be the only one I will post because the other ones show my construction methods, but hopefully in 2 weeks I can release a video of how it looks like or I may even have it available to sale.

Any design change opinions are very welcome

    @canario
like this and how I described

    You can see

The stock headlights are in there.
The bonnet has been extended over them witch in turn the front bar is extended witch brings the whole front forward.
all it need are my 2K headlights insert to finish this kit of.
    (bad plug I know):D

Nice work so far,its good to be different or all of ours car would look the same.

how are those the original head lights?

Looks like a Veyron crashed into a Camaro then a VG fell out of the sky and landed on the bonnet.

I wouldn't pay money for it.
