not 100% sure but heard they are like $1k each. but there will have to be some cheaper versions out soon id say. bit spendy just to watch go up in smoke... literally
Saw that is some mag....but with a monaro on it....its a new type of tyre that can have smoke of a few colours and is made especially for burnout shows etc. Heard it was on trial and is gonna cost big bucks
it is pretty cool but... lol just dont do it near a army training base.. they'll think its a drop site with coloured flares or something haha
Someone in the american drifting competition (Formula D i think its called) used to use these tyres. But then they stopped him because they weren't available to the public so they weren't allowed to be used in competitions. But while he did have them it was pretty cool seeing him drift with red smoke coming off the tyres. It'd be interesting to find out how they get the tyre to smoke up red or blue or whatever.
doesnt give him an edge theyre crowd pleasers, but they dont give the points so why not? Im sure a pro judge could see past the 'smaoke screen'
yeah i think they had a rule that you had to compete on tyre available to the general public. these tyres were just put on by kumho to attract attention. seeing as i'm buying new rims and tyre too, do you think if i spraypainted my old tyres red they'd smoke up red if i did a burnout? there must be a way to get red smoke.
