One of Smithy's newest products. They not only replace those hoses that are many years old and prone to splitting and leaking but also brighten up the rear corner of your engine bay.
Not aware of anywhere in the world that produced these hoses, Smithy specifically had tooling made up for them. All come with stainless hose bands to suit.

TT models , some have 3 hoses and some have 4, please check your engine before ordering to ensure you have ordered the correct ones. Hose1, Hose 2, Hose 3, Hose 4.

NA models , these have just 2 hoses Hose1, Hose 2

Available in Red, Blue, Black and yellow
    Prices:
Set of 2 to suit all NA and some TT $120.00
Set of 3 to suit most TT $165.00
Set of 4 to suit TT $222.00
**All prices include registered post direct from the UK.**

How much for just Hose 3 and 4?

    Hi Caz

I've had these hoses replaced with Silicone for well over 3 years & only paid $40 for the hose.
I'm not knocking Smithy's product, but why would you want to pay these prices for something that you can replace for a whole lot cheaper.
They don't require S/S clamps as mine have been on as I said for 3 years now & only held in place with colour matched Cable Tie's. And before someone asks, NO they don't leak.
    Cheers
    Kerry

the reason why they cost as much as they do is that they have had mandrels custom made so that they come shaped exactly the same as the factory ones, you slide the hose onto the mandrel and they go into a huge steam oven it goes up to about 400c deg from memory and around 1500lbs/sq" pressure, how i know this is that i used to work in a rubber factory many years ago that did this, i remember we made the hoses for the first ford capri convertible that was released in australia and they brought the car to the factory before it was released to show everyone, (why i don't know) but everyone that had a camera there they took the film out, lmao, as they didn't wan't any pictures to get out before the release

Obviously very different products Kerry. These are custom made 4 ply reinforced silicone with a liner. Cable ties are fine for some vacc lines but totally unsuitable for this product. As blackheartedprofit mentions setting up machinery for these does not come cheaply and I understand they are not for everyone's budget.
But as with all of Smithy's 300ZX products they are A1 quality which shows.:D

I'll have them at the tech day Eastern Eye so you can see them. I think they are made at the same place, SFS. Im not 100% sure.

Smithy makes things in batches. Once they sell its a matter of waiting for the next batch to be made. I have waiting lists for his products so if it doesnt suit you to buy from this batch I can let you know when the next one happens.. Currently there are no SS Throttle cable covers or laser engraved door sills so I have waiting lists for those.
But there are laser engraved Polished SS Fuse cover sets again :)

I know myself from experience, Nissan used varying degrees of different thickness and strength hoses on all their cars, like any manufacturer really ;) Now considering their are umpteen Vac hoses in the engine bay and Nissan did these ones a certain shape and thickness, am happy it's for a reason.
The ones here are exact copies of the nissan ones, except these being more attractive and cheaper than Nissan replacements and correct yes, no one else anywhere makes these.
IMO i know which I'd prefer as my brake and clutch booster hoses, the correct fitment, shape and size or some ole Vac tube bent over and held on with cable ties, maybe this is why Samco went bust 10 years ago, peeps sticking some vac on instead of decent hosing :D so any chance you could pick 6 numbers for me from 1-48 for this weeks lottery :)
    cheers

Hi blackheartedprofit, its a bit darker red than the vacc hose. Its a different type of hose to the vacc line and a different manufacturer.
Here is a pic of them in my car next to the vacc hose.

You can see they aren't exactly the same.

    Caz.. :)

Who said I used Vac Hose >>

You have made some rash accusations/opinions of what you think I used Smithy.
You are entitled to your opinion the same as I about the use & type of hoses.
The clamps used by Nissan are some what frail in comparison to the S/S clamps that you use. That I agree on.
But why would Nissan use clamps that any 5 year old could pull off, such is the effectiveness that these would provide.
Your product may be very good, but there is always an alternative with parts for the Z32.
