    Hey everyone,
I've started to pull my headlights apart to put in the angel eyes and I've come across a part which I'm not sure what to do with. There are three loose orange discs that fell out of the headlights. They look like mints. I think they might be spacers or something like that. Does anyone know what they are and where they belong?

    Thanks,
    Lonnie

i think you will find they are there to soak up any moisture that gets in.

If im not mistaken, those are for moisture absorbtion. Few fell out of my headlights when I did some work on them quite a while back and someone told me thats what they were. So unless another guru has another answer, there you go.

They absorb moisture inside the headlight assembly. Just tape them back in on the underside of the curved black plastic plate.

Exactly, they are the same principle as the silica gel packs inside a shoe box, or in the packs of 2 minute noodles

As the others have said, they're there to soak up any moisture that makes its way into the lights.

They also taste like dust... then pain...
