Slow electric window closing

My passenger window has always been a little bit slow when closing. I pulled the door trim off today to grease the rails (I used the white lithium grease spray) and now it's struggling to close the last 5mm (it's much faster when closing initially but as the window gets closer to the top it slows down alot and stops). It doesn't look like it's rubbing against anything and the motor gear looks good (no stripped teeth) so I'm guessing I just used the wrong grease or the new and old grease do not like each other and I need to clean it all off.
What sort of grease should I be using? Or should I try graphite powder?

Issue is not that it needs greasing. But there is bloody heaps of grease and most of it filthy and old.

I cleaned ALL the grease off the rails AND PUT JUST A SMEAR BACK ON. My windows go up and down very easily. The runners are plastic/nylon anyway so they dont need a lot of lube to work.

need to clean the shit out of ur rails, the friction of the dry brittle brush on the rails and the grease doesnt mix well. clean you window thoroughly after you clean your rails otherwise youll get them dirty again. the rails are just guides shouldnt be greased up really...

so you remove the both rails from the door (the one in the pillar and the one at the front?) and clean them with kero or something to strip the old grease off?
how hard is it to remove the rails? the pillar rail looks like it's held in with a bolt and a nut/stud, do i just undo them and pull it out or does the whole window have to come out with it?

Ideally you would pull the glass and unbolt the rails. BUT you could prob put a few thiuck towels in the bottom of the door, wind the window up and get stuck into the rails with a brush and some KERO.
