    Well hello there!
Noticed the other day that my roof mouldings were sticking up and looking a bit funny, so i gave them a poke and lo and behold a length of trim lifts off, with a broken clip underneath!
Anyway long story short, ordered some new clips in, read this guide (http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/13701.html) and set about trying to clip it back on.
According to the article, it claims you put the clip into the channel and clip the moulding on top. Now no matter how hard I wriggle these dam things I cannot for the life of me get the moulding to clip on to the clips.
Is there a special trick to these? Or am I just not holding my tongue in the right way?
I dont want to try and force them on as there are already some minor ripples in the moulding from when someone in the past has had the same problem.
Anyone done this before? Its starting to bug me now haha

    Cheers all!

Check underneath inside the strip the ridge is not bent from overzealous incorrect fitment.

Hmm there is a slight ripple in the lip, ill try to subtly persuade it to straighten up. Thanks for that

I got mine in with tease on the clip and the knob in the groove. I used a piece of string around the clip which I pulled while simultaneously pushing down on the mild the clip into place. It'll take a few goes so be patient and make sure the clip is facing the sane way you're pulling..

Pain in the arse job really but it must be done.
New molding kits for slick top can be sourced on request from concept z but will be pricy
