After reading Nightfalltech's thread I am a little concerned about my Zed.

My Zed has a slight idle issue (hovers about 800rpm then slowly moves up too appox 1100 then drops again). Its not consistent but happens on a regular enough basis.

I recently had new O2's installed and had my mech run a diognostic. He told me he didnt see anything out of the ordinary except he couldn't erase a knock sensor fault! HELLO........ this doesn't seem like a good thing I told him in a few, carefully selected words. Had no money at the time to do anything about it and will be taking my girl to UAS very soon.

Does anyone think I should be concerned about my already wounded wallet? And why?

    my idle issue was chronic

it was quite obviously missing and running REALLY rough!, My knowledge is pretty limited, hence why i'm paying to have my heads redone by a pro (although i did own an NA for a few years) but your problem sounds more electronic than mechanical...

    dont worry....

dude, seriously, I think everyones zed at some time or another has idle issues, and most of the time its electrical... Check all the electrical connections and look in the tech section for curring erratic idle... Have you checked for boost leaks??

As for the det sensor fault, yes, also quite common and once again its an electrical issue. It can be replaced at quite an expensive or can be simply bypassed for the time being. Once again. check out the tech section.....

    Cheers
