Now that my NA has been sold and I have a TT in the garage, all the TT items that I had collected for the TT conversion can now be sold as I no longer need them. I'm selling everything as part of a "TT conversion kit" so at this stage, I'm not prepared to sell things individually.

Price: $1200 for the lot. Pick up only.

    So the items included are:

    TT engine (see details below)
    TT fuel pump
    TT flywheel
    TT Oil sump
    TT crossmember
    TT FPC (fuel pump controller)
TT aircon condenser and A/C lines
All TT intake piping including stock intercoolers

The only thing missing from this kit that would be essential for a complete conversion is a TT ECU and a TT radiator.

This is the TT engine. The motor came out of a manual TT. It was running up until the owner wrecked his car. However, the engine has been sitting in my garage on an engine stand for the last 3 years. A such, I would advise a strip down and analysis of the internal components. My plan for this engine was to rebuild it. The engine comes with stock turbo's, manifolds and dump pipes. The turbo's were rebuilt by the previous owner about 5 years ago. However, one of the turbo's is looking a bit "oily" on the outside. The other one looks fine. The rear of the engine is also a little oily, which seems to be coming from leaking CAM cover seals. The EGR is still in place at the back of the motor. As far as I am aware, the motor has stock internals. Power steering pump and alternator still attached to motor, but their condition is unknown.

TT sump to replace the damaged sump attached to motor. The sump was damaged when the motor was removed from the vehicle.

TT crossmember. The NA crossmember can be used, but the TT crossmember has some extra brackets to accommodate the extra TT oil lines.

TT Flywheel. Will probably need some machining, but otherwise fine. The TT flywheel is bigger than the NA flywheel, and should therefore be used for a proper conversion.

Two boxes full of TT intake piping (including stock recirc valves) and stock TT intercoolers. Also included is the TT carbon canister.

I have no pictures of the TT fuel pump, but we all know what a zed fuel pump
looks like. I have tested this unit and it works fine. Also required is the TT fuel pump controller included in this kit.

The aircon condenser is different between NA and TT, as the TT condenser is narrower to allow the intake piping through. As such, you will need the TT condenser in this kit and the A/C metal hardpipes which run along the front of the car. The metal hardpipes are different between NA and TT.

    Cheers

I can vouch for these turbo's being rebuilt. I had the turbo's rebuilt while owning the car this motor was from before selling it to the next owner.

Sorry mate, the stock recircs have already gone with the intake piping.

Also, the flywheel does not have the ring gear which the starter motor needs to connect with. So unless you can source the ring gear elsewhere, the clutch will be useless to you.

    Hey mate,

I'm really keen on the condenser, do you have a rough postage cost to qld 4118 for a bulky item like that?

    Cheers

I have a ring gear to fit that flywheel if anyone buys it. The flywheel was resurfaced already just needs to be wizzed with a sander over to remove the surface rust and its good to go.
