Selling a smashed 300zx (whole or parts)

Unfortunately, I've decided to part with my Zed. I'll be looking into getting a new one sometime throughout the year but for now, my one-time baby is dead and going. Apparently it will take around $10k to get fixed (including labour), and that being the price of a new car, I made the choice that most would.

This post is really to get an idea of what people want and how much they will pay. If someone wishes to take the entire car off my hands then that could be organised.

Copied straight out of my profile:
-Lowered.
-Exhaust.
-Unifilter.
-18x8 HR Racing HR162 chromes with Nankang 235/40R18 Ultra Sport NS-II's (front).
-18x8 Koya Rush chrome wheels with Dunlop 265/35ZR18 SP Sport 9090's (rear).
-Autotecnica front seats.
-Red handbrake and gear boots and brake calipers.
-Kenwood KDC-5023 headunit and rear KFC-5708C 5x7's.
-NOS floor mats.. lol..

Now the damage is pretty much just body/chassis damage. Of course, pictures are the most useful here but I'll just give a brief description of what happened so you have a better grasp of the situation. The car spin and hit the front right and then rear right into a solid rock wall. It *is* driveable (in that you can turn it on and drive around) but obviously there are alignment issues.

how much do u want for the plasic gards under the wipers? also the ruber strips/trims on the doors that stop water from getting in when lowering the windows/

Thanks for all the replies. My inbox is pretty flooded =) I just got some professional advice on how much the car is worth and he said $3-3.5k which echoes what others have said. That being said, I will compile a list of the pieces that can be sold and see if it's worth my while parting it out.

Two more things to mention. Naturally, I'm after the least fuss here so Sydney buyers will have priority, especially those willing to pick up, which I think is fair. Secondly, would there be any experienced Zed people (hopefully on the North Shore) who could help me out by taking a look and advising me on the bits and pieces?

I'll have the car back on my property on Monday so I should be able to start taking bits and pieces off it then next week (starting 16/01/06). I'll try and respond to emails/PM's/offers in this thread over the next few days.

Like everyone else i am really sorry to hear about your car. It looked the goods!

Sorry to be a vulture but i was wondering, if you do decide to separate the car, if i could get your gear and handbrake boot as well as your centre console insert that goes from the top of the aircon vents to just above the gear lever. If you can understand what i mean-i barely do after that description.

Anyway good luck with sorting this out and sourcing another vehicle!

 

would the antenna mast be stuffed? looks like it might have survived
