Hi Guys, As I have recently installed a FMIC, I now only have a small space to fit a pod filter and my big Blitz one doesn't even come close to fitting. I am hoping someone would be interested in swapping their more compact filter for my Blitz version below. I am interested in a fair swap for a decent quality filter, something like a Unifilter or HKS mushroom. Or, if anyone is interested, I will sell the pod for $80. I have a Blitz pod pretty much the same as that with a FMIC, same problem as you, it didn't fit but all you have to do is turn the pipes so that it's facing as far down as possible and it should fit. Will be a tight squeze and touch the FMIC but it fits.
Seconded, it does fit. But yes it's veeeery tight. Gotta twist it right down then hold it while doing up the 2 hose clamps. I ran it like that for probly a year. If you can get a swap though it will make your job much easier. Ben
I've tried to fit it a couple of times but its not even close. It is a good 5cm or so too wide to even fit down into the gap. I have mounted my FMIC really nicely flush up against the body.... Nemz, Any idea roughly what it looks like? Ironically... I swapped filters with the Unifilter one you have now in the Silver car before I sold it to ya hahaha... Any chance you want to swap that one?
i actually have an arc air box now, i put the uni filter in my brothers skyline, if you think it would fit though i could prolly get it out of his car and swap it, dosnt bother me
