Hey guys - just thought I would extend an invite to the zed owners for another meet. Would love to see you all there and get a close look at the cars. I won't have my zed by then but I'll be there in my MR2 or friend's Skyline. Here's the details (copyied straight from original thread here) Hey everyone. It's time for another meet! This time we're heading down the peninsula for a day cruise. It's a great route with plenty of fun corners and amazing scenery. We'll meet in the morning and have a few stops along the way for photos and lunch. Any Japanese import can attend (don't bring down your mum's Mazda 2! ). When? Sunday July 26th. 10am meet for an 11am departure. Lunch at around 1.30 and arrive back in suburbs mid/late arvo. Where? Initial meetpoint: Bunnings car park. Corner of Cheltenham Rd & Springvale Rd, Keysborough. Destination: The peak of Arthur's Seat. Route: View the route in detail by clicking here Distance: Roughly 120km. ~1/4 tank of petrol for most people. What to bring: - 1x jap car - Petrol (at least 1/2 tank to be safe) - Money for lunch - CB radio (optional) - Camera (optional) Let me know if you're coming so we can get a rough idea of numbers. nahhh that makes me sad. plus when i unveil mine, i will wana drive so badly so im going to stay away from cars haha. sorry JD. but had a great time talking to you aswell. was a great night, should have gone the moutains with you guys, but i didnt have coils/braces set. cant wait till i have it back, hopefully you can get a run going and we will hang out/catch up then. ++ hopefuly you have your zed by then, good luck with this run. shame i cant get there. kindest regards. rod.
There will be plenty of runs later in the year and we'll probably do an exact repeat of this one over summer Would be awesome to take the targas off and cruise through the twisties with ocean views. Hell, if it's over 18 degrees on the 26th I will be taking my targas off for this cruise
