So I spent some time and sweat and blood to build this little bad boy here. I will let the pics do the talking...

This is a very nice stripped out bolt hole in the P/S bracket that Z-1 sent us for the HICAS Delete...(blows raspberry)

















First fire after priming the Oil pump for a few minutes...WOO HOO!!!





Then it was running fine and a week later it developed a Fuel leak...@#$%@#$@^@^@#$%!@##$^%^^^#$^!$ !!!!!!! So I tore the Plenum off. Found the Leaky culprit and fixed it. One of the Steel Braided hoses that attaches to the -6 AN fitting coming out of the Fuel Rails was not tight enough. My bad. No other fluid leaks whatsoever. None. =)

I have no clue how this was machined like this. Very poor if you ask me. No...There is NO WAY it is cross threaded. It came from Specialty Z like that. This is the one that didn't leak...Go figure.





The infamous "Board of Bolts"





Machining required on the Plunum to clear the heads of the Allen Bolts holding the Caps over the Injectors...





Back together and running great.









Daily descisions I have to make...What a tragedy. =)

Looks the goods mate. Only criticism I have is that you didn't polish the turbo heat shields, kinda slack if you ask me

those fittings are Gen1 fittings. i had huge dramas with them . coz sent me out gen 2 ones . they eat up the last threads and then some and dont leak .. i have a picture somewhere.

Whoa!!! All the pics on here come out real size! I love this site! You can actually see what I am doing. Thanks for the comments. I actually stopped counting at 40 hours and I have well over double into it. Mike is one of my buddies who lives down the street from me. We met through 3ZC.com. I actually like doing work for people who appreciate it. He appreciates it and pays me well! =) Probably the only project where I feel that I was compensated fully in return.

I'm guessing its a second hand block with original unopened internals? What power do you estimate it putting out?

Well....We are running stock Auto Turbos and stock Injectors. The engine is a stock 100k mile lump. He had SZ DP's, Hi-flow Cats, Full exhaust by SZ. POP Charger and no tune. Running a Blitz EBC. I really really really want him to get a chip and we should be set for a more than daily driveable +-350HP car. Buuuuut he feels that this is enough for now. It has absolutely ZERO turbo lag whatsoever. I am trying to talk him into taking it for a dyno run after a few thousand miles. I will definitely post up the results. The smaller Auto Turbos is what gives it the punch for now. With a tune and some 555 Injectors he has the makings of a 450+HP car. Pretty easily. It definitely needs a tune to open her up. Stock ECU blows @$$. =)

 

Lol...just need to know how to work it It aint all that bad.

 

What on earth are those Weird mushroom looking fruit things you ate for dinner?

 

I was just referring to the stock ECU being in the car instead of a Tuned ECU with HUGE turbos and some 740cc Injectors! lol The stock ECU is waaaaay more than sufficient for high HP.

They are pretty spendy but oohhhhh sooooo good. We found 6 of those the size of my G/F's hand in our back yard over a month or so. Ate them all. You just have to cook them before you eat them.
