Anyknow if you can get replacement foam for the drivers seat ?
I started retrimming my seat with the GB Kit from Max, but the foam/cushion where theres usually tears and cuts is all broken and i cannot use it again...
Ive called Nissan but they dont sell that stuff, and ive tried a custom interiors place, but they cannot do it till after Easter.
    Any ideeas ?:(

I have this problem too. I asked the upholsterer who did my door trims in the same material Max provided with the seat covers and I asked him about the bolster foam and he reckons he could fix it easy as. Not sure what he does but I would assume this would be a common trick for the average professional.

Also interested. I havent started the retrim yet, but when I do I will need to attend to the drivers right hand side bolster as it has no foam there: you can actually see the bare metal frame

I got asked $60 for them to make me a new one, ripp off but what can you do...The bad thing is the seats out of the car and cant drive it untill next week.
When i do my seat i also think i will put a bit of extra padding on my seat with the foam i got from Clark Rubber, just a layer on top of the old one...have to keep my ass looking good lol. :D

I was gonna mention Clark Rubber. Just go there to have a look. There might be something that matches the density etc. your looking for and then you can cut it to spec.

Yeh i did but not yet...waiting for the second notice to arrive, because ive asked for the photographic evidence:cool: , and they told me pay when you receive your second one.
I have been to Clark Rubber but all they have is like a electric saw, There is no way they can cut/replicate the shape of the old one. But they were nice enuf and gave me a decent size foam piece from for free which i could probably make 2 of those foam bits. The bad part is to make it yourself you need a HotWire, its the only thing with which you can cut complicated shapes like that, and they are around $200.
I even went to Bunnings they dont have anything like that, only place you can buy them from is Arts stores.

I have seen damaged seat foam many times, and fixed it home diy.
The best way to DIY is to get some car wash spunge cut large pieces, stuff it into damaged part of the seat and cover it all up by using heaps of masking tape or sticky tape.
This is not enough though, as it will get damaged in do time again soon.
The best way long durability is to cover the masking take with cardboard top layer, and re mask it again.
Over 4 years in my car, still strong, and cost nothing
