Hi...does anyone know of anyone who installs scissors door in Sydney? Any feedback as is it worth and are there any dramas such as leakage or whatever? Have read few things but its bit confusing...any feedback would be great...cheers
i know of a fella who done it to his car, he said it was a biacth of a thing to install - those bolt on kits aint really bolt ons well thats wat he said. but they look cool though
Yeah, I've heard that those 'compatible with Z' kits aren't, and that they either don't sit flush with the car, or require modifications to the Z body that just isn't worth the effort and result. Of course, don't let me discourage you from that undertaking
Get a scissor kit that allows the doors to open normally and also gullwing style. Imagine if you rolled your car somehow and couldn't open the doors because the car was upside down...
Get in touch with ROYSZX he has the gullwing doors on his car!........but the first movement of the door is just as normal which is great for getting in & out in car parks etc etc.......then the door swings upward! Look at The Nats pics of the Show & Shine day on Sunday!!.......his black beast was on display with the doors up! :zlove:
