Does anyone know if these are good rods? I wanted to get Eagle rods but nobody seems to have them in stock at the moment ANYWHERE. Caz can get me Scat rods at a pretty good price, just wondering about peoples opinions on them.
Rods Factory rods linished and shot peened failed in my engine at 438rwkw. Now have Scat and very good and better finish than Eagle although forged in same factory Scat are finnished better. If can afford Argo are better again but only for BIG power and big revs, otherwise not needed and unless racing andor going ove 350rwkw factory rods as is are fine. They are lighter so less rotating mass.
I'm not going for big HP yet, but I may wish to some day and would be nice to know the bottom end will handle it if I do. So Scat and Eagle are pretty much the same rods? If so I will go for them.
i have scat rods in my motor but its a bit early to tell you that i think they are good the motor has only done 600 km so i have pushed it yet
