i can bring my 19mm spanner... got any intercooler pipes that need to be worked on ? :zlove:

 

1. Subframe swap
2. Bones alarm
3. Gauges
4. Nistune board
5. Headlight swap
6. diagnose weird boost issue (safety boost?)
7. install air guide
8. Diagnose rear vibration. ( if possible )
9. Hook up Blitz turbo timer (in car from previous owner)
10. Install S2 PTU (if someone has one for sale)

 

Hey Eric, I appreciate the offer to fix it, but if it is the timing I can't get reset it until I've got the $$ to tune it again. Just wanted to make sure that was the reason.

 

Also, if I did drive it down to Jimboomba I'm worried about an idler bearing letting go. The noise appears to be coming from the passenger side timing cover (maybe the bearings had just been sitting around for ages in Cams garage and seized up) and I've been told not to drive it, because if it lets go the pistons will kiss the valves, lol. So resetting the timing would be useless unless some new bearings went in there?

I'll be trying to rip the PS belt off tomorrow to 100% make sure it's not a bed. If its not an idler bearing I'll bring it down

13. (Baz) - wire up reversing camera.
14. (Baz) - check speakers - one cuts in/out.
15. (Baz) - lift Driver's side door.
16. (Baz-maybe) - Driver's window door rattle .(have "fix" kit) - time permitting.

I'm in Tarragindi, so I'll work out tomorrow whether or not I'm driving my own car and if I'm not I'll chip in for fuel with whoever picks me up .

What do we bring? Snags, piss etc?

 

Thats not an issue, if ya need a ride just let me know i can swing past that way off the freeway, seeing as i don't have an etag, i go the old fashioned way .

 

b pillar seatbelt conversion

do you know what sort of nut is needed for the b pillar seatbelts? and what dimension metal for welding it on ?

Good news, I fixed the noise (it was the alternator belt, for some reason it was tight but not tight enough, my bad).


So Eric, are you still keen to teach me how to time up a zed?
