More importantly, how much faster were you getting around at the end of the day than you were at the start? I think I would have knocked close to 1/4 off my initial lap times, especially after I got Dean to drive my car around and tell me how I should be doing things. Indeed, I found the same thing.
Lots! From the pit lane it looked like he was really flying and that was just the first half of the shorter straight...
yeah getting Dean to drive my car was a good move. I was abit unsure about letting someone else drive my car but Evan (legoZ) said it was worth it. I'm glad i did as after that session i started taking the same lines as Dean and using the ripplestrips to try and make straight lines between the s-bends. Was able to brake abit later and carry more speed through turns and i think i can carry over some of what i learnt to other tracks.
ohhhh sh!t that must have been fun...how does it feel to get power to the ground now and go WOT ey...i wish i could have seen that...that looked like soooo much fun:zlove:...wonder if anyone else got up to those speeds or not????....i wonder what the average speeds were around the course though with all the cars?...but damn i wish i was there
wish i could've come to this. Sucked working my arse off at work and thinking about how much fun you guys had. By any means will try for the next one. Sandeep if you think this was nerve racking, try it in the wet before any suspension mods! Surrouned by veryyyy expensive cars...very scary and finicky. Did about 20-30 laps throughout the day so i was completelyyyy stuffed by the end of the day
What a great time! Thanks again to chad for helping be the go between guy for us and the team at Driver Dynamics for a great day! Like most of the guys this was also my first proper track event and I wasnt sure what to expect and hadnt driver my car hard for anywhere near as long so I wasnt sure what to expect.. Overall I enjoyedthe day, have a few things I'd like to change and improve on, but it was a great speed fix! To all of those who didnt make it I recommend doing this sort of event at least once. Now I did manage to get a few snaps happening towards the end ofthe day, so where better to post them than here... This is probably my favourite, although having my car in it helps :zlove: This shot might not be the best for those who get sea sick easily... BigCols lovely machine, giving his new Goodyears a 'good' workout during the day... A quick pic of Alex storming out of the pitlane! I had to post at least one photo of this car... it feels good , but the car need a lot more work , it was vibrating at about 200 then when i hit 240 i seemed to settle down ,, i was in 4th gear at the time going into 5, so it proved itself to handle the track ,but as soon as i came out of a corner it seemed to over power the track , I'm going to get some slicks for the back . its a must ... i would love to take it out on a top speed run and open up fifth gear , flat out . ( again ) hehehehe just kidding i may ask work if they will let me put it on the runway ( imagine they said yes )

man ill post up but ain't you sick of looking at my bucket of bolts.. because the way the track is, it was hard to get good footage.. so most of it was the front straight .........
