Ok so this morning I went to have some root canal surgery done, low and behold 2 hours later when I come out the dentists the white z has a massive scrape down the drivers side starting from the door back to the rear quarter panel which is dented right in. This really gives me the sh*ts as I'm trying to get on with other projects (like my zx that's been off the road for 9 months with a blown gearbox and my computer that died just a couple of days ago.) The z gods must really hate me. I'll take some photos and pop them up later so you guys can see the damage. Truly a horrible morning.
They left me some paint all down the side of the car... that's about it. I've taken off the interior panels but it seems its going to be a bit harder than that to get to the dent, its pushed in about 3cm with a diameter of about 15cm.
Afraid not : ( Checked that up but they say they haven't had the need to install them. Looks like i'll have to suck it up... it's times like these that insurance seems like the biggest waste of time/money.
Ask around other businesses in the area as they may have cameras that happen to point in that dirrection or covering areas leading to or away even if not set up to specifically cover that area but background shots. You have a date and approx time so go for a walk along the streets leading to the place you parked. Electronics shops with cameras in windows may look onto streets e.c.t. Never know . Taxi ranks where drivers sit mayhave seen something . Cafes or offices where people sit looking that way ?. Cheers Dave

How could you do that much damage and not leave a note or some thing? I hope it's eating them away inside.. How big of a town are you in? maybe go look for a white car with damage at approximately that height of your car? Or maybe report it to the panel beaters? They'd have to be getting there car fixed to by the looks of it? Sweet looking computer too.. The screens would gneiss the shit outta me tho lol
Thanks for the replies guys, the plan is to get it fixed by this Saturday, working all through the day and night if necessary. Hopefully will be updating soon with pictures of a straight looking z.
This isn't the first time i've had a car damaged and no note left, seems there's a lot of short sighted drivers who can't see past their own insignificant woes... poor z.
