hello, i guess it is true once you lose a car of your dreams you do not want to talk to many people about you past car because you somehow failed my hubby zedi is not him self he wants another zed but does not want the hassle off the parents and family again i guess thats one reason for going tassie when we did i love zeds and toranas and i guess i always will and i will talk about them but zedi he is so boring he just wants to work and fly planes i go crusieing by my self and see zeds in and around williamtown and newy and flash my lights at you guys and girls to have my bit of fun so i am not sad but he hates it and i even put silver z on my car only because i wish my car was not a red ford s/w but a red zhe hates that to he is so .....i think he is this way cause i made him sell every thing to get back to newy but not his yella he sold that good on ya zed owners and try not to sell them there is nothing like them. :zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove:i guess i just need to have a winge.

You're from Pt Stephens hey? Nice place. Spent my Christmas there. Drove the Zed down from Brisbane, saw the beaches and promptly ripped the roof off and got to know all of the beach esplanades. Can tell why you'd want a Zed!!! I could get used to waking up to this each morning: And this in the evening: And of course, one of these in the driveway: Hope it all works out for you.

It's at One Mile Ridge... which is a small development on top of the National Park at Boat Harbour (that's the name of the suburb). Not too far from Nelson Bay. What a way to spend Chritsmas!! Bugger, shouldn't have looked at the photos whilst I'm here at work...I need to go for a drive...
That's easy! I own a few Toranas as well as a Zed. One Torana is worth around 4 to 5 times the average Zed, one a fair bit more than a Zed, one around the same as a decent one, and one or two other Toranas that are catching up with Zeds, value wise Not bad for an agricultural and basic Aussie designed and built car from decades ago! Zeds are nice, but they aren't the only car to get excited about
I understand what you are saying, I was merely offering my opinion (in a round about way). There are many cars that are 'worth' more than the Zed, but very few that are actually comparable I have an Aston Martin that is worth 6 times what a Zed is worth, but I would much rather drive the Zed.... Methinks you need a serious talking to !! Don't even go mentioning that pommie wannabe trash, when the REAL subject was a glorified Aussie built tractor with a paint job!! Funny you should mention about rather driving the Zed. I enjoy driving all my cars 'cept the ole' slushbox Calais - it's just to get us there and back. The Zed certainly is fun to drive and exhilarating, but I also get a kick out of driving my little old grandpa car - a stock as the day it was built 1974 LH SL Torana with 173 and three speed on the column manual. On the other hand, driving a fairly raw and torquey 5 litre manual hatch is a different fun experience all together (and we can fit the baby seat in it )
hang a sec I had a DBS aston martin and was a nice tank. not as nice as the ZED mind you a bit slower but it carried itself bette than a zed. and the V8 is a beauty. Mind you the zed is a slug compaired to my old fiat 124 spyder. Now that was a real car. i still get a smile on my face about that rag top with no power steering. That 124 goes into one of the best cars I;ve ever driven... shadow

Stop twisting my mind!!!!!!!! I had the 124 sedan followed by BC, CC and AC 124 Sports variants; and always wanted a 124 Spyder ... and now I read that it drives better than a Zed!!?? There will always be room in my driveway for a DB7, but nowhere near enough in the bank account to put it there.

we did have.... both cars at one stage and it was bloody fun. i guess it is mostly me that gets on here cause it gives me some one to talk to and i am sorry if the keying does not want to work for me. i just feel stuck sometimes and trapped. i have 2 friends 1 is in tas and 1 up here. it gets lonely cause of that and this gives me an interest, but hubby dont like much that i do any more i just can not make him happy and he seems as though he is keeping secerts from me. and i dont by the way.i just love my fast cars but wont drive them be a passenger in one but wont drive.i am 34 yo, married with to girls and sometimes going crazy but friday and saturday nights are keeps me sane. thank you for puting up with me.smiley kylie.:zlove:
