Only good if you can pick up ones with a wide light spread, otherwise you'll end up with 4 bright dots for brake lights and 2 for your tail indicators. Incandescent bulbs provide a much better light for our elongated lenses.

you can buy them on ebay, but according to my experience, they are not that bright. and they are not really amber, more like orange.

The problem is that the reflector is parabolic, and the filament of an incandescent globe is set right at the focus. This gives maximum light dispersion off the reflector.

A LED globe is bunch of separate light sources bunched together, and only one, or maybe a couple will be at or near the focal point. That's why you don't get the same intensity of beam off the reflector, even though the incandescent and the LED globes have the same nominal wattage.

i changed only the reverse lights to white LED's because previously the bulbs has a pinkish salmony hue to it. isn't it that LED bulbs have different resistance to normal bulbs and make the indicators blink faster? and also they don't have the 'fading' in and out effect incandescents do...it's either fully on or fully off with led indicators.
