    Series 2 PTU's, complete with pigtails @ $80 + post.

Here's a link to my last buy I did... http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=296805&highlight=ptu

This is the same as before. Let me know if you are interested, and if I get enough interest then I will get some. I need 10 people.

They are very easy to install yourself. When I did one recently I took my time, used heatshrink, and it worked first time.

What is the advantage of having an s2?

lol it doesn s*#t the bed like S1.. they are renowned for failing.. so upgrading is well worth the piece of mind not having to wait till the S1 fails

Well, none really. Other than having a part that is less likely to fail. Don't forget the S1 PTU was recalled in the states (no such luck in Oz unfortunately)

    Exactly!

man that is CHEAP! i bought mine from a US legit seller for 180+USD earlier this year.

EDIT: i highly recommend this as an upgrade! i had major issues diagnosing a z32 a while back, it still had a weak intermittent spark, trouble starting, plugged in the s2 ptu and away she purred! i would install a S2 even if your S1 hasn't got any problems, like i said this is cheap, i would snap this up if i had the opportunity back then! And like others have said, the S1 ptu will poop with no signs of when what so ever, the one i did pooped after i had changed the spark plugs...go figure.

    Good work Vader!
