Just had a 100km service at Amec a couple of weeks ago (thanks boys, sweet as ! )... but they advised to me that my zed in running in safety boost and probably had a leak .... get it checked asap when I get back up to the sunshine coast. The trouble is I can not find a mechanic around Noosa who dares to touch the car as there eyes roll back and turn white when I pop the hood. Could any one recommend a mechanic up on the sunshine coast (preferably) who knows what and where to look for boost leaks - specifically on zeds ?
Safety boost and boost leak are unrelated Start with the simplest fix. In this case it is most likely safety boost caused by one of the sensors / wiring failing and tripping the ECU into safety boost. pls check my email reply. regards mark
