yeah was a good day yesterday, lots of work done to both adam and my cars, but neither finished......so it continues today lol!!!! his cars almost done, so that should be simple, but mines still got a long way to go.....

Pitty we could'nt get more done, but in my opinion too many pairs of hands but hey everyone turned up and helped.
Was a good day and thanks for the hospitality and I hope you get some use out of your new welder.

seems i left a jack and handle at your place mate.

also Andy, when i pull my egr out would i be able to drop that manifold nut thing to you and have you weld it up like you did with ross's??

Well its official fella's (and ladys!)

My car is alive again!!

Much thanks to everyone how showed up to have a simmo snagga and lend a hand...and a special thanks to Ross who slugged away to help me and not even finish his own in the end. Thanks mate. (will need to have another couple of days to get ross on the road again soon for the cruise guys!)

Funny enough though..as we tried to start her the first time...she jumped alive...started to idle...and after a few seconds...died...did the same thing a second time...third time she revved up and idled! amazing..never seen a z start so quick after a PP.....also... Luke after you left i found that pipe with a nut in it i used to block up my master clutch booster (as it was leaking vac.....)on the ground..hence my bad idle....put it in....idles nice now!

ps Who ever put the passenger side exhaust cam cover on is getting a free carstration ...

they wedged the oil tube bracket in between the rocker cover and the head.. CAUSING MASSIVE oil and boost leaks

me and adam spent the last 4 hours getting eaten alive by mosquitos fixing her....

 

Good thing it wasn't me . Great that it's fixed though.
