    Hi guys,

I got my CZP order yesterday, fitted up my new smoked indicators, hood hinge covers, black strip sticker, bezel and 2/3 of a molding kit :)

    Also detailed the outside :zlove:

The only part that's troubling me is the moldings that come up the winscreen and over the roof front to back (slicktop).

Could anyone point me in the right direction with how to get these on without snapping clips?

    Cheers,
    Joel

Slicktop will be easier. From memory the clips are two pieces, you'll notice under the roof mouldings are two small rails one on the inner and outer sides. One half of the clip goes in those rails. Look carefully at the ends of the moulding, the rails have a gap for you to slide the clips in place.

Once the upper half of the clips are in the rails clip the lower half of the clips onto the metal studs on the car, one end of the clip has a tab that pushes down which locks it in place. I used silicon spray or wd40, whatever to help the two halves of the clips connect. Be careful the mouldings dent easily.

The windshield mouldings slide in place starting from the top clip and then lock in to the side of the glass, there's a groove there for them and the rubber triangle on the end afaik pushes under the fender beside the bonnet. PITA job.

Thanks McLovin, I'm just having trouble getting the clips to slide together and it appears they sit too deep inside the groove to slide top half in :(

Next I tried to join them first and put the clip in the top rail, but I could get enough force on the clip to lock it in.

Then I tried to join the clips and lock them on to the car side first but i cut my thumb and lifted the nail so I'll retry tomorrow..
