I think 18s look good, yes. Offset will depend on width. Generally speaking something around 8.5" front with +30-35 and 9.5" rear with +35-40 is safe. You can go more aggressive than the fitment I mentioned, things such as ride height, tyre choice and camber all come into play. The best advice I could give anyone would be to download one of maybe free wheel fitment apps and punch in the specs of your existing wheels and tyres and compare these to your proposed purchase. These apps will tell you exactly how many mm your inner and outer clearance will change, then all you have to do is measure.
Z32 Wheel Offsets For the standard Australian & JDM series 16 x 7.5JJ rims, the offset is 45mm. The wider 16 x 8.5JJ Twin Turbo Rear rim offset is 35mm. 18" rims are a good choice if you require additional clearance for larger rotors & calipers.
18s are good but you'll find tyres are noticeably more expensive than for 17s, if you go through rubber quickly might consider one step down if you don't need to clear big brakes
Ok, thanks for all of your help. I purchased today a set of 18" staggered Lenso D1R rims Rear tyres are 265/35x18 Front are 225/40x18. Pick them up in 2 weeks,Hoping they fit.
Can't really speculate on fitment as you haven't posted offsets. Widths seem pretty tame though (judging from tyre width) so I think you will be OK.
