Hi all, Currently driving my Auto zed and I find gear changes sluggish so I'm really keen to put in a manual valve body (preferably a reverse one) and was wondering where I could purchase one (live in Perth and have already called around and haven't received much help thus far).

    If TT Jatco RE4R03A trans
    If NA Jatco RE4R01A trans

Tell them its for a 300ZX trans.

If your trans is sluggish it may benefit from a rebuild, modifying is not the way to fix things if they are broken, if the trans is old and tired, manualising may just be an interim step to rebuilding any way.

Have you ever been in a shift kitted or auto 300ZX that is fresh ?

If you are going to put any serious power through it save your energy and do a manual gearbox conversion imo.

What about doing that resistor thing.
    Look up the auto threads.

The other option is to work out what the resistor range is and try using a potentiometer.
That is just what they call variable resistors. The variable part is the adjustment dial.

If your Trans is Healthy ? If so , you can use a Shift Kit from Superior , It was the best by far of the three i tried .

And BMS has your Reverse pattern Transbrake.
