    Hi guys,
Just wondering if anybody is able to tell me what type & size of fuel hoses I would need to replace all the fuel lines in the full system. I had a search & I have found different sizes, hence my question.

    1) is the correct size for the fuel lines 5/16 or 7.94mm?

    2) Is the correct length needed 7 feet of 2.1m?

    3) do I just need normal fuel injection hose or is there a certain type or brand I should get?

    Thanks in advance

Normal fuel injection hose and I have used a combination primarily of 8mm in the past.

enjoy taking those old fuel hoses off ;)

LENGTH WISE: I just usually go to Bursons and get 2m cut. When installing, I usually just cut and match sizes with old fuel hoses.

8mm in the new language, 5/16 in the old language (unless you're a yank lol)

Thanks James & Shane ;) the links I found were all from the states & here why I potted up both sizes lol as for length is it only 2m for the whole zed or is 2m just for the engine bay fuel lines?

Gates enviro shield in 5/16" is my go to choice. Why? It's bio fuel tolerant, and burst pressure and heat rating exceed 30R9. It's also readily available at most repco outlets.

2m (most shops only sell by the metre) will go everything down stream of the filter with hose to spare.

Just for the engine bay. I did have a little bit of left over length from last time.

Not sure on the length of the 2 x rubber hoses below the battery near the chassis rails though. Never thought about replacing those before

My preference is the gates hose from Repco also.

It is a massive pita to get to the bottom clamps on those hoses. Got a few cut up knuckles from tackling these in the last couple of days. I've removed the hardlines up the sides and plumbing direct to these lower hardlines as I've mounted my FPR where these higher hard lines are. I managed to get the return line removed and replaced and now plumbed straight to my Sard FPR, but decided to put a brass joiner in for the feed line for now until the engine comes out lol!

Rob I just got 2mtrs of fuel injected hose by Gates...however the guy had no idea what the "Enviro Shield" hose was & he showed me they only had one gates fuel hose listed that they sell. However on the actual hose, it says it is Multi Fuel & Bio Fuel compatible with the CARB no Q-09-019A 4219BF...so I'm hoping that's the same one you mentioned...

Anybody have any idea how much extra length of hose I would need to do the rest of the fuel lines other than the ones in the engine bay?

The only other ones are from the tank to the hard lines, they're fairly short too, you'll probably have enough leftover to do them.

Oops gave you the wrong name. Barricade hose "with greenshield technology"

    Envirolock is another product line...

Rob so is the one I got different? Or is it the same one as it says bio fuel compatible?

Dean I wa given more than 2mtrs as that's all they had however I only got charged for 2mtrs as the guy couldn't be bothered measuring exactly how much extra was there lol a hopefully it will be enough.
