Has anyone got some pictures of a Remote Oil Filter fitted in a TT??

Looking for ideas on how and where to fit one.

    Thanks

    Here's one

Mine's up next to the brake master cyl. It's easy to reach.

    There may be other/better spots

    Good luck

Nowhere to fit really and no need to relocate anyway, unlike GTR's where there is no room to fit a sandwich block and filter in factory location, zeds have plenty of room. Why complicate and make car heavier and also then deal with oil spill the enigne bay belwo and around where it is mounted, rather than where it is under the car in the best location. I ran one in previous motor in my race car which used a big Z9 filter which is too big to fit in stock loaction, and made custom mounts for it locating it where the air con compressor normally sits.

I was wondering about that, I like the access point where it is as you can pre-fill the filter as it is upright and I can get at mine easily by driving my front wheel onto a sleeper.

Though I guess on a lowered car it would be quite a task.

Nice and easy to get to. Must be messy to change though.

Thanks for that ... unfortunatley using the type of thermostate (sandwhich type) coupled with the normal sandwhich adapter for after market temp and pressure gauges causes the filter to sit below the x-member ... since the a/c has been removed that stop is as good as any.

    Cheers
