Has anyone seen any " Remote oil filter adaptors" for a VG30. All i come across are samwidge plates or the overpriced Relocation kits. For something so simple and commonly available on ebay, i have not come across any ebay copy sellers who can verify VG30 fitment. We use the exact same oil filter as skylines and SR20's so any on those will work, why do you need one though? Our filter is almost directly beside the sump plug. You will have to worry about ground clearance of your adaptor though.
Thanks for that info. I have a EPR 8 quart oilpan and a oil filter will not fit in the standard location.
Bsp is 14 tpi and unf is 16. So oil filter is 3/4 unf. so any kit with those specs will do. most relocation kits come with all the adapters you need just make sure one of the adapters have those specs. list of cars that use the z145a, there are more cars but this is what i came up with on short notice. So you actually need to replace the whole oil tree? I can't imagine a sandwich plate would free up much room compared to a z145a, I've never taken that off so not sure.
The oiltree is a-ok in place, but i have 72mm of vertical height for an oil filter to fit in. Remote Oil filter adaptors are about 50-70mm in height. I'll find one, its just that most of the cheap ones around are with a thread 20mm x 1.5 e.g....http://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbay&gbh=1
