Much to my surprise I got home today and found the EL-Tape and inverter I paid for in November sitting ontop of my mailbox. SAZedBoy finally came good. I'll test it when I have time, and tell you all if it works. Hopefully it won't end up like many of the others have.

Also hoping that I don't break the rear panel when I install it, like many others have.

No problem, but I'm working 3 days a week and doing uni full-time, so I probably won't have time until I graduate in June. The initial plan was to do it over the Christmas break

yeah i broke 2 panels before i got it right , to much heat and melted the first panel , not enough heat and cracked the 2nd panel , just right heat on the 3rd panel and dah dah . just get the hang of it and will probably never need to do it again , lol .

if you pay $250 for a centre panel then you have brain damage, most people sell em second hand for about $20-40.. :D

youll be right just take your time , my tips

    1. dont use oven , heat gun or hair dryer is better , to avoid melting panel

    2. dont pull lenghtwise only pull side on to avoid cracking panel

ps : dont forget undo the 4 little headless screws first of all .

Who knows, but I've got it now, so thats all that matters. A little more communication from him would have been nice, but it's all in the past.

It is the right colour. I just tested it, and it does work, however it is a bit of a pinky red which sometimes happens with these things. It also makes a ringing noise, but hopefully it won't be noticable when installed in the back. Otherwise I'll try to insulate it somehow.

mine made a rining / buzzing noise until i had it held in place, as soon as i started taping it in place the noise got less noticable and once it was completely taped it tightly in place the noise went away altogether.
