Yep I got the rebuild kit from Coz, except without rods because he had none in stock. I got Scat rods off Caz instead.
oh yeah worldwide shortage on Eagles weird hey. Rebuild kit should be cool did you get new oil pump, 100k kit and the usual array of goodies like full gasket kit yada yada yada
Nah, I got the b kit. Just Pistons, bearings and gaskets with a discount because of no rods, actually he pretty much took whole cost of the rods off which I thought was more than fair. Figured I'd get K-Zeds 100k kit and buy the oil pump separately. Dunno which would work cheaper but at least I'll be supporting local forum members.
Oh shoul of got the oil pump from Coz too I just went through this and Nissan wants just uner $400 where coz is 167 USD most local suppliers source them through Coz anyway and a one off will have freight charges which will make it dearer. A hindsite delimma
Yeah you're right, will probably end up getting it from him anyway. There's still a few bits and pieces I need. I was kinda in a rush when I bought the rebuild kit (so I could get the machining done) and didn't have the available cash for extra's. Worst case I suppose I'm down $200 or so. Yep hindsight's a beautiful thing.
